I love any excuse to drink

If you were to watch them in a marathon. Start off light to enjoy the masterful first movie, all the way up to Halloween 4. Then when you get to 5 and subsequently 6, that's when I'd start to break out the heavy stuff. Ease off and try and regain some sobriety for H20, then the heavy stuff again from Resurrection to the 2 remakes.

Halloween 3 is actually great but they really shouldn't have called it Halloween. That was the only issue with it. Season of the Witch would have been a fine title on its own, but they tried to profit from the established name and rightfully got called out for it. The concept of that movie was really interesting and well done. Michael Myers is Halloween so I understood why people write it off.

Problem is John Carpenter never meant for Myers to *be* the franchise. His original intent was for it to be like Creepshow or The Twilight Zone, an anthology series of different stories. The only reason Halloween 2 happened the way it did was because the demand for an extension of the story was so high that Carpenter had no choice but to.

I do have a soft spot for Season of the Witch. Its rubbish, but its so batshit insane rubbish its entertaining! But yeah if you don't want to bother with all the sequels the first two Halloween films make a nice two-parter which rounds everything off by the end.

H20 is actually my favourite of the sequels, but I know it divides people.

Because a good Halloween movie tends to sell a shit ton, and I believe 2018 had the highest box office of the series.

Not only that but I think it was the largest opening for any slasher movie ever.

I can take or leave it at this point. Of course ideally they would stop, but I'm still invested in the franchise to the point I know if they get it right it can still work. Plus as a horror nerd I like to tick those boxes off

Guess if you didn't like the 2018 film its unlikely you'll be up for this. I wonder if they might be pushing their luck myself.

Resurrection is one of those movies you watch with mates and laugh at how bad it is. I couldn't imagine watching it and trying to actually watch it properly like I did. Would not recommend. If you're going to watch it alone, or would help.

Earlier this Week I purchased a Halloween T-Shirt from Walmart getting all ready to rock it out on Saturday and then we get this Treat awesome. This looks even more brutal the previous one and I'm here for it. You got Lindsey, Nurse Chambers, and Tommy returning and we got shots of all of them in this and I expect two outta three die including Laurie. Nurse Chambers might get her FACE CRUSHED!

I'm actually so excited. The more I re-visit the 2018 Halloween, I seem to love it more and more, which seems to be the opposite of most people. They liked it in cinema and didn't like it on a more thorough re-watch. It just hit all the right notes for me.

Well there was a suspicion he wasn't going to be killed off in 2018.

Guess we can confidently say he will survive this one and roll onto the 3rd film.
Where that should be it. He's finally put to rest for good.
