I think Wade Barrett is far too talented to put him in the "beyond repair" pile right now, regardless of how frequent WWE has screwed up with him.

You could probably argue that with a lot of guys, my mine gripe is they've made it so much more difficult for themselves. They had the number 1 heel for years to come in their hands but they blew it to keep the title on Orton, sure Randy was hot at the time but he dropped it to the bloody Miz the night after. I love Miz but it was Wade's time, if you want Miz in the mainevent of Wrestlemania have him cash in the MITB on Wade after EC, Cena ends up winning the chamber match, Barrett defends again Orton who's spot in the EC is taken by Miz (you could have him say he wants to prove to everyone who doubts him he can mainevent WM that way and keep the case as collateral). Miz cashes in on Barrett then you run the triple threat at Mania, it's not the blow off Cena / Wade needed but it's better than what we got on two fronts IMO.

Couldn't agree more. Anyone who is remotely a fan of wrestling knew Barrett was the top heel of the company if pushed properly. The guy had all the momentum in the world when leading the Nexus, and he pretty much single-handedly carried that group of rookies into a main-event looking stable. Hanging in there with Cena & Piper and getting the amount of serious heat he got isn't easy, and it's remarkable how even WWE managed to screw it up.

However, because of the talent just mentioned, he can get out of it. A 6 month lay off while getting repackaged with a huge story behind him is enough for him to be the new HHH-type heel we all know he can be.

:obama: remember the fight club vignettes? Why they didn't run with that I'll never know, the guy just looks like money IMO.

Thought they were dope, but he returned as the same looking dude (oily and nothing different) who just threw more punches in a match than anything else which inevitably bored the crowd even more.

To get him over, give him a mic every single week with something interesting behind him. He is one of the best talkers there. Barrett isn't going to get heat or any reaction by his wrestling ability, let's be honest.

True to that atleast Wade is in the ME picture.

Hunico, Otunga and maybe Kidd, Riley and Miz, or at least he is getting there.

I just feel that Kidd and Riley have been jobbed so much that it would just seem ridiculous for all of a sudden they just start beating big people who before they wouldn't have a chance against. I hoped they would make a big thing of Riley beating Ziggler that time and push him from there but I don't even think he's appeared since and Kidd just makes random appearences here and there. And Miz is getting to the point now where I can't realistically see him being WWE champ ever again, his character is getting quite stale and boring now imo when he could have been great, his WWE champ run was great imo.

Miz is great on the mic but his in-ring skills are awful most especially his Figure Four Leglock.

I thought about Riley, but I put him into the same category as Wade. I hold him in high regard and the guy oozes star quality. Riley is still over from his run with The Miz; the pops he gets far exceed those other jobbers on Superstars. Also, he is incredible on the mic, so I'll hold the horse by saying it's over for him, but it is definitely tough now. Much harder than it is to push Barrett up there that's for sure.

I hope Riley does work out, because it's such an obvious choice for a main eventer.

I hope WWE do what they did with Swagger, Swagger before his push now was absent from TV and before that he was buried by Dolph, look at him now, he's getting a lot of heat and has a feud with ADR.

I hope so too, the guy has everything you would want in a star, admittedly, he isn't great in the ring but he has improved so much since his Miz days, they could have so easily given him the US title after he turned face and kept him there, at the time his in ring ability wasn't good enough to be a top guy imo so it would have been a great stepping stone, but he definitely has the look and his mic skills are up there with the best. I just hope the fans would still buy into him if he was pushed, he does still seem to get big pops on the rare occasion he appears so that shouldn't be a problem, this is yet another case where we can just hope that WWE know his potential, because god knows he could be a top guy if not the top guy if used correctly imo.

Well, Cena is a top guy in WWE right now, yes he has charisma but his ring skills isn't that good, Riley has even better moves than him, just my opinion though. Fans are also behind Riley in every match he has. So why not give him a push, WWE should capitalize on Riley's charisma.

Remember when Riley beat Ziggler en route to Summerslam, when Jericho caused the distraction? Thought that was a great way to start rebuilding him. Let him win fluke matches at first and work his way back up... sadly WWE doesn't think he's worth it
