Because that's when the wrestling was the best. I grew up 1990-1997 wrestling and most of it is junk and I was watching from 2005-2011 and I think that shit was junk too. Nostalgia means nothing if the wrestling sucked. I'd take 2011-2015 over any period that wasn't 1998-2003. So your whole argument falls apart because 2012 is way after the period I supposedly don't like for nostalgia reasons. Nobody wrestling 2012 was around in 1998, but they had some good wrestling going on again. The Shield, CM Punk, AJ Lee, Daniel Bryan and the booking was top notch. The wrestling just needs to be good.
