TNAWrestlingNews.com is confirming that Gregory Helms will be joining TNA Wrestling once his ninety no-compete clause with World Wrestling Entertainment expires in late May. He has already made a verbal deal with the organization through Jeff Hardy. He will most likely be performing under his WCW ring name, Shane Helms.

They're making cutbacks so the Hurricane can come in? Fuck the Hogan hate, start the Hardy hate. Fuckin Shannon Moore and Hurricane?!?! Black holes of charisma.

Last I saw Helms was fat and sloppy looking. I really don't know why TNA had interest in him. The only person I thought TNA should bring in is Shelton Benjamin.

TNA needs to learn to stop bringing in every ex WWE guy that gets fired. I would actually rather see them bring in more ROH wrestlers and make some names for them.

I thought Shane Helms was his real name? Either way I thought TNA was suppose to be trimming their roster, not adding to it.

i hope thats not true they need to stop hiring so many ex wwe wrestlers and star hiring more quality talent to help them not just making tna a haven for former wwe talent. the only former wwe talent i think would be good in tna is shelton bengimin and mickie james for the knockouts division other than that id look more to the indy scene and start building you own talent.

So wait Shannon Moore and Gregory Helms in TNA? Now all they need is to sign Evan Karagias and then Three Count can reunite.

I hope these aren't the same fans that were all over Helms' dick in 2006-07. He's a great wrestler and character when given the proper avenue and TNA just might do that for him.

Yeah back when he had that pretty long Crusierweight title reign every body was in love with him. He honestly did have a really good character and if he never broke his neck who knows how far he could of went with it. His feud with Matt Hardy was probably one of the best of that year (and im not just saying that as a mark either) He was given a serious character and some serious TV time and he became a solid mid carder. So the proof exists that Helms can be a valuable asset to a company, its just the facts that 1. TNA hasnt been very sucessful in pushing guys in all the right ways and 2. Helms has aged and has had some injuries including the more recent neck one keeping him out for well over a year, that have me skeptical about him coming in to TNA.

Helms sucks!!! All the good wrestlers out there and they want him. His Hurricane gimmick sucked and so did his wanna be backstreet boyz gimmick in WCW.
