- Kobe can't get LA over .500 because D'Antoni sucks and can't play defense, and can't adopt to a roster
- Heat's big win from the last season was not LeBron's single miracle act, it's revisionism at it's finest, and it's not "the greatest finals performance" in NBA ever, no matter how hard fanboys try
- it was mostly Spoelstra's great tactics
- Mario Chalmers and his 3pts swag

Yea, sure take away LBJ and lets see Coach Spo's tactics and Chalmers are EASILY waltzing to a title. Yup, you are so right.

-Never called it the best finals performance, that title belongs to Shaq when he was in his prime in LA

-You can make excuses for the Lakers, but Kobe is their leader and they suck right now.

D'Antoni had the knicks below .500 last year as well too. He is not a good coach with that all offense/ no defense approach.

Best player in the NBA now is LBJ, Best scorer is Melo, Best rebounder is Kevin Love. Best defender is chandler? That could go to Artest as well. Best PG would be Rondo. Let me know if you guys disagree

Got rubio at 6? Boy can ball

Nah, too one dimensional. He can distribute, but is below average on D and can't really score or shoot very well.

The 5 I listed + Steph Curry are all better + I would take plenty more before Rubio. Nash once he's back.

Of course Rose once he's healthy. Mike Conley. Kyle Lowry, John wall, hell even Lawson and Jennings.

No disrespect to Rubio, he makes Minnesota a lot better team, but he is pretty far down my list. Too many good PGs in today's NBA

He is a borderline top 5 rebounder, and a borderline top 5 Power Forward this season.

He is balling HARD this season for my Warriors, along with Steph.

While I do agree with borderline top 5 rebounder but he's definitely the top power forward behind Varejao this year. It may have not been the case in the past but this year he's been really impressing me. Don't know if you're including Lebron as a power forward but he's doing amazing this year. 7 straight games with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Averaging nearly 20 points per game and 11 rebounds (if I remember correctly.) Probably one of the most matchup prone players in the NBA.

Speaking of Stephen (who's killing everyone but the Magic :idontcare:) have you seen this yet?

Also no mention of Brian Scalebrine? :lol1:

CBA about Steph's comments tbh. Who cares what he says, I care about how he plays.

As for that list of PGs... pretty absurd IMO, but to each his own. No way I'd take any of your 6-10 over Steph, Lowry, Nash/Rose (injured) or even the MIke Conleys and Ty Lawsons of the world. Well, Holiday is in that same league. Jennings is a talent, but a head case and me first type of player. Dragic/Walker/Lilliard are nice up and coming PGs, but not yet the type of players I would take over more proven commodities like the ones I've listed.

as far as Power Forwards go I'd put ZACH RANDOLPH #1, then Love/Griffin, then probably Pau (even though he isn't a good fit in MDA's system) and LaMarcus Aldridge. Bosh is probably top 5 but is forgotten as the 3rd wheel of the big 3, then the David Lee's and Serge Ibaka's and Amare's come to mind. Also a mention for Dirk who is hurt.

I don't count guys like LBJ & Melo as 4s.. they will always be 3s in my mind.
