You might say its a great bit of casting, besides its a great story, the wrestling scenes are so well done and the support cast are wonderful too.

It's going to be really hard for anything to top some of Darren Aronofsky's work.

Don't know I am a huge fan too, wouldn't mind seeing Black Swan appear somewhere.

Pi & The Fountain are both better than Black Swan. I just like Black Swan due to 3 of my favorite actresses being in it, Mila Kunis, Ksenia Solo, & Natalie Portman.

Yeah Prime needs to make some extra threads just for more Aronofsky flicks.

The Fountain is the only one of his movies I haven't seen, but my wife insists that it's terrible. I dunno, maybe I'll give it a chance when she's at work. Personally, I think Requiem For a Dream and Wrestler are his best movies. I still have tons of love for Pi though, but it's hard to defend it. It's a very engaging story and really fucks with your head, but I couldn't argue with anyone calling it boring because it certainly isn't for everyone. I loved Black Swan when I first saw it, but when you really take away all the aesthetics (mainly Mila and Natalie) you really can't deny how ridiculous that story is.

Fountain is one of those movies I have seen about a dozen times, and everytime I watch it I have a different opinion of what actually happened, and that is what I like about Pi as well.

If you are not about thinking while watching movies, then neither of those are for you. I would suggest Beyond the Black Rainbow to anyone who really liked both those films.

The Fountain is one of my top 5 movies. Amazing soundtrack, and just an incredible, life-changing movie. It took me a few times to watch it to truly understand it, because it's somewhat vague. The imagery and themes are just beautiful in that movie.

As for my vote, I'm going to go with The Wrestler.

We Were Soldiers is probably the 2nd best Vietnam war movie though.
