They have a lot of people who clamor to get tickets but never do, they can reach that 100,000 easily.

Saying they can "easily" sell 100,000 tickets is a stretch. They haven't even sold out all of the Wrestlemania shows that they've held in stadiums and those are always 20-25k lower than the 100,000 number that they're striving to reach next year.

They would have already broke the record by now if it was that simple. HHH is even considering bringing in mega-celebrities like Katy Perry next year just to ensure they get 100,000 people to show up.

WWE is corny as f*ck so nothing about the build or actual match would be worth check out.
I'd enjoy him feuding with Miz. Miz could get under his skin and be a perfect antithesis to Goldberg's demeanor.
I'd actually enjoy the insults, the chicken chasing all leading to the match where Goldberg finally got his meathooks on the guy.
It's simple and not the answer you're looking for but I hate when WWE writes themselves into a corner with their marquee matches.

Miz is my answer. As a point of reference, this feud would be akin to Rock/Goldberg or HBK/Hogan.
Amf I normally like most of your posts, but you lost my interest at "miz"

Fuck miz.

As long as they have better musical acts then this year and than have the same caliber of legends as well as a few additional ones like SCSA, Goldberg and such they should be able to reach the 100k mark, although it's not going to be that easy.. I'd say a returning CM Punk would do the trick though, although with his UFC career about to be underway that's looking pretty doubtful.

The only logical person to face Goldberg is Triple H. There'd be legit heat behind that match

The only Mania not to sell out was 13. Also most WrestleMania's are close to selling out the day tickets are set on sale. They usually are completely packed months before the show. With sell outs for the RAW after Mania sometimes in year in advanced. I agree it's a slight stretch but they have enough fans willing to come that 100,000 isn't something that is hard to believe.

Depends on whether or not his UFC career washes out by then or not. The only way Punk would come back is if he main evented the show since that's the main thing he always wanted, and with the possibility of Rock being on the card next year and the extreme likelihood of seeing Rock vs Brock, I can't see that happening. But those issues aside, Punk returning in early 2016 and working an angle with someone like HHH (who I feel would be the biggest possible money match for Punk considering the reality of him walking out is inter-linked with HHH being an authority figure in real-life who never really liked Punk) would definitely drum up interest. That alone isn't selling out that stadium, but it's a start.

From a personal perspective though, I'd rather Punk stayed retired. They screwed up by not using him to his full capacity before, but now is the time to start focusing on newer stars.

Where you getting that info? There's been other Manias that haven't even filled in the full seating capacity.

Manias aren't always sold out right from the get-go, no matter what Michael Cole likes to tout on-screen. There were still tickets available for WM28 a month or so before the event, for example.

It's a known fact that I'm sure you can find anywhere easily. Also I'm not sure if you're talking about this or not but WrestleMania never uses full seating capacity, they take like 25% with the stage, set and other things.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WrestleMania_13

found this that says that. Check the "Reception" section.

That's from a book written in 2006 and probably not one that's been revised and updated correctly since then.

I know that tickets for WM28 were still available even just a month before the show and there were supposedly around 11,000-12,000 seats left in Levi's Stadium just a month ago as well. I seem to recall 26 not being a complete sell-out either (not counting any free tickets that were possibly given away days before the show.)

Well WrestleMania sold out according to Levi Stadium administrators, WWE and the City of San Francisco. WrestleMania 28 was a custom set up so I can't say anything about whether or not they sold out or not because it was expanded just for that event. WrestleMania 26 sold out with 72,000+ which is the limit for UOPX Stadium.

I'm confident with the right card - 100,000 can be a reality.

If Goldberg were to face someone at WM32 I would say Brock Lesnar but if they revisited their rivalry and with Brocks new beast/demolishing matches it would be interesting to see. The reason I say Brock and not Triple H vs Batista is because Batista always said if he had a retirement match it would be against Triple H and with Batista getting on a bit and liking being a movie star he could terminate his career for final.

Goldberg vs stone cold, in Dallas with his 90s attitude would be nice. I'm generally interested in seeing Goldberg again and with a hometown hero return in scsa, and even a miracle win for Austin...epic lol
