So... I feel like Punk has a good mind for wrestling and if all things were equal he could possibly do a good job.

But it's not like this is gonna happen any time soon. If in 5 years HBK retires and Punk proves himself to have matured from his issues in WWE the first time around and from AEW I could see it happening.

But don't forget NXT is HHH's baby, he started that thing. He's gotta care for it and will only put it in the hands of someone he completely trusts.

Ngl I actually can see Punk becoming super involved and doing good work for purely egotistical reasons to preserve his legacy of actually helping young talent lol spite is the best motivator in wrestling most of the time
