Honestly the comparisons between Vince and Verne are wild. Two pioneers of wrestling booking who revolutionized the business model, but then completely lost the plot in the last years of their tenures and were ultimately forced out (Verne to bankruptcy, and Vince to all of his crimes finally catching up to him).

Unironically, I think the only thing that kept Vince in power for so long was the fact he turned WWE into a publicly traded company, which actually gave him more leverage and power than if he had kept it privately owned.
