As much as I shit on Billy, the current NWA incarnation is still more prestigious in just about every way than some of the post-WCW years

Yeah NWA went through some pretty dark periods in 1993-2002 and then 2007-2017.

At the very least, between 2002 and 2007, the NWA had TNA propping them up and the NWA titles were actually given a modicum of respect again.
