I always find it hilarious tbh that everyone always thinks Vince saved wrestling when he quite honestly didn't. The nWo in WCW revived interest in wrestling, and then Cody Rhodes and company getting a Turner deal brought back a lot of lapsed fans to an alternative product, even if it isn't my cup of tea. Vince never did a fucking thing outside of being just smart enough to have Austin be the face of the company in 1998.
