The only awkward thing about it was the offset button placement but that you get used to very quickly, and I actually miss it on modern controllers. Also the Gamecube controllers survived being thrown against a wall. Other controllers shatter, Gamecube has no damage and works for years afterwards.

Why are you throwing controllers against a wall? I dropped my ps1/2/3/4 controllers and they never broke but you shouldn't be throwing them against a wall. Seriously the "they survive being thrown" isn't a pro considering they were probably being thrown cause the controllers sucked
