Does Disney reserve the right to release someone within the company if their public persona does not fit the values of the company, yeah or nah? I'm not debating whether or not it was right, I'm looking at it (as much as I hate to) from the corporate point of view.

This is exactly what I'm arguing tbf. If you publicly say something that goes directly against the values of a company, they reserve the right to release you from your contract. Political opinions are not protected against termination in the constitution. Whether it's right or wrong is a whole other can of worms.
