Fuckin' love the opening though with the bus. The tone of Freddy in this one is underrated.
I'm probably in the minority that loves all the movies. Even Freddy's Dead which is considered the worst. They all have their pros and cons.

Why the fuck did they make Nightmare on Elm Street 2 so weird. Like I enjoy it, but there's so much weird shit going on in this movie.

I've dreamt about him a couple of times in my life, it was equal parts cool and terrifying to wake up after. I remember my dreams quite well, sometimes they are quite lucid.
I don't know if you guys know this but Freddy was actually inspired by a real news story Wes Craven read when he was younger. Some guy was afraid to fall asleep because of whatever he was dreaming about and later died in his sleep.

That Glen death in Nightmare is one of the best death scenes ever.
I quite enjoyed making this thread my own personal horror diary tonight, not sure if anyone else did 
Apparently he even had a coffee machine hidden in his room from his parents. They only discovered it after. That's how much he didn't want to sleep. Movies have been creepier since I heard that story.
It's fucking awesome. If you watch the documentary it was one of the hardest scenes they filmed too, so I have even more appreciation for it coming out as well as it did.
