Vaughn as Bates actually sounds solid casting to me. He's always good playing creeps. Not sure the cast was really the problem. Still not seen it though.

He's not terrible to be fair, but if you're trying to match how Perkins played the part anybody is going to have a tough time.

Fair enough. Will check it out someday. I'd say Psycho 2 is a really solid sequel. Rewatched it not too long ago. Its much better than you'd expect.

It's not a bad sequel at all, especially following such a fantastic movie. Never an easy task.

I don't know how they made a business card scene so intense, but it's great.
