That is an important distrinction true, but truth be told if we do cosnider the possible numbers outside of the US then their numbers in the attitude era were even bigger then too

In 1999, the WWE was broadcast in about 50 countries, nowadays it's broadcast literally everywhere there is internet. 50 countries to 261 countries is a big difference tbf.

in the sense of strictlly american eyeballs and growth, aew is definitely the hotter product . it just matters less to wwe because they dont actually care about anything but the bottom line these days more than ever

I know India was a market during the attitude era as well but I'd still bet they have more new viewers there and in China to make up for lost eyes in the states (not in terms of revenue, just amount of eyeballs)

well thats the thing isnt it. 1% of India watching is still 13 million ppl

so its all relative. we average around 110k to 130k viewers in canada but were 10% of USA to that trends about the same or slightly higher % wise than us viewship, for example of AEW
