pistol or shotgun is fine tho, both good i think i just used the shogun cuz its got a wider arc blast for the parry and i suck at parrying lol

I don't think they are really meant for proper combat, as long as you can get parrying down. I've started to get the hang of it more.

I know if you parry the boss for a combo you can do loads of damage. When I saw someone do it to the blood starved beast they were taking massive chunks of HP from the boss
