But I would still apologize and say Merry Christmas afterwards, doesn't matter if I believe in Christ they do and they are makin' dinner, you gotta at least respect taht
Depends on the person, most do. OMB and Blaze mostly just post their TEW results and explain a few things. Most of them you wouldn't even be able to tell they're booked on TEW though.
Gambitto's is a great example bc it looks like just a great written regular BTB and then he'll post about injuries and stuff that the game made happen that fucks up his things and causes him to change plans
As I've said before I probably would play TEW if I was playing a current day BTB. When playing a yesteryear BTB I like to play god and avoid injuries I knew happened irl and don't want new ones poppin' up. I just want to show what I would have booked. People could ask what I'd do if certain people got hurt in the middle of an angle and I could then say what I would have done differently, but I'd rather do that as a Q&A and leave my booking how it would be if nothing wrong happened.
Yeah I feel you there because I also wouldn't want to book like say 2000 WWF which is my favorite year of them...because how the fuck would I not just book the same shit that I loved so much in the first place...or even worse if I tried to book better stuff and it was worse
But like 94 ECW was fun bc 94 ECW was all over the place anyway. I could tell you some random shit happened in 94 that I just made up and most people would believe it if it involved people on the roster
Agreed. It's hard finding a year you want to book, but also a year you can scrap completely because you want to still do the same awesome stuff. Hence why I probably wouldn't do a 1996/1997 WCW BTB because the first year of the nWo was done perfectly. I'd only do it if Hogan wasn't gonna be the third man.
