Even the 1998 BTB I want to do, there's a few things that have to still have to happen because it's what's best for WCW, but thankfully I can do them, but do them differently hopefully if that makes sense.

Yeah that's why I thought the WCW lives mod was cool even though it had like Cuban owning them It wasn't really a fantasy mod, but more of just an alternate world one that was still fairly possible since they didn't allow you to use the guys under the AOL contracts and stuff still

Cuban is a weird one as I thought that was out there, but he does own a stake in AXS and Impact now, I think.

And then imagine if you try to but it just don't get over as well bc TEW still has it's own randomness bc it's not like the game specifically knows Goldberg HAS to be a star like a mod maker can only put so much "Potential" for someone

Yeah just replace Cuban with any other guy really and the mod overall made a lot of sense to me

But yeah Smark, your complaints bout the historic TEW mods while not as big of a deal to me when playing, are also reasons I'm a big advocate for playing the default C-Verse bc once you get to know the characters a little it's just so much fun not having to worry about if the mod is balanced right or if so and so has the right stats and stuff.

People just don't like booking people they don't know though and I get that as well lol

IDK about TEW mods, but if I did WCW 2001 living, I'd probably just have the Bischoff/Fusicent purchase happen.

Probably wouldn't be hard to edit the WCW Lives mod to do it, but I actually think that's basically what EC did with his I'm just not sure how much he did himself and what the mod he started with actually had.

With his current January WCW 2000 one I mean, I think he actually said Bischoff was the owner at the start but that's bc by TEWs criteria he was the "acting owner" more or less. Since they just have one owner and one booker

I'm sure it's easy once you look into how to edit the databases, for sure. EC is pretty adapt at that.

Another option not many look into, but I've considered before is doing a Vince owned WCW as was the plan before Vince decided Buff Bagwell having a bad match meant he couldn't do WCW at all anymore.

I think he is the owner as he said Bischoff didn't want him to make a deal with Vince for some reason. Though, I don't think the backstory is the same as it was irl.

Yeah but I think EC made up the backstory bc I think when he started the mod it was just regular 2000 WCW with Bischoff as Owner and no backstory lol
