Honestly I can't see Hall winning the title in 97 unless you sacrifice the Sting/Hogan build. I mean you could finagle Hall into Hogan's place in it since it was more Sting/nWo but I don't think that's a draw even if it's a better match

I do agree, but they also let Luger win the belt in August. Hall in 1996 was fire, so maybe he could have done it before Hogan, but I get why Hogan needed to.

I actually 100% agree with this. There was never a right time in WCW, but man how fire would Razor have been as the WWF champion if he beat Hart in 1993 or 1994?

Yeah, just WCW trying to ripoff DX and this is why he's put with Wolfpac two months later as Wolfpac was supposed to the DX version of the nWo.

Sting basically killed his crow character in 98 IMO he was pretty much just surfer Sting in personality by the end of the year just with darker aesthetics. I'm sure he had more fun being able to show personality again though
