This is true but I mean the ECW Championship just had such an eclectic group of champions in such a short span

the thing I remember most about WWECW (other than the zombie) was Christian coming out with zero buildup or fanfare and the commentator going "it's...it's Christian"

At least Striker tried to save it with his "This moment has become instantly classic" line

Todd Grisham always sucked...I still marked for Christian's return when I watched it live tho

They coulda had such a damn good show if they woulda kept grooming new stars to win the title more often, instead of just sending the rejects from the other brands

I genuinly enjoyed the show for it's last couple years with it's mix of veterans like Regal and Goldust that could still go and young guys

Like when Jack Swagger had it. He was the most un-ECW guy imaginable but at least it felt like it a guy who was young and had a lot of potential who had no ties to Raw or Smackdown

Like I'd rank 08-2010 WWECW higher than probably all the original version of NXT's seasons. Most of them were really shitty.

WWECW should have been what NXT is now. Some veterans to help with on the job training and rookies learning and trying to get to the next level.

Who was everyone's favorite NXT season 4 competitor?

Coulda given dudes like Sheamus, Evan Bourne and even Yoshi Tatsu runs with it and built a proper roster with them.

Instead of taking the guys you like out of it immediately and replacing them with guys floundering on the other brands.

I think Sheamus was in ECW for like a month and a half and then was WWE Champion two a half months in

Gotta be either Derrick Bateman or Johnny Curtis.

He was awesome tho and he had a great mini feud with Goldust while still in ECW
