labatt 50 is an ale, very old man beer in quebec , hence the nostalgia. strong flavor. moosehead is a lager, its a fairly popular go to if you want like a slightly premium local lager that'

sleeman has a bunch of beers, i like their honey brown lager and their silver creek lager in the summer since its pretty refreshing. i dont really drink any of those anymore but when i drank non hipster beer they were my usual go to

pretty much all in that "premium domestic" but not craft category if that makes sense. the cheapest stuff i drank regularly in my early 20s and late teens was Molson Canadian. absolute piss. but it was like 9 bucks a pitcher

But yeah I'm kinda selective with beer. I tolerate any light beer, it's whatever. Modelo I love, it's a Mexican lager of course. And besides that I mostly stick with hard ciders because I just don't enjoy the taste of most other beers I've had.

thats totally fair i forced myself to drink beer for a long time and i never actually really loved most of it tbh, just felt like I "had" to. society is better now thoi lol
