+ it's NXT. Which, I get is not an excuse but I view it more like wrestlers figuring out what works and what doesn't, and trying to look better for their future. Ruca's finisher works for right now since since she's starting off, and I imagine she'll adapt a new one soon enough

I will say though, y'all discussed it earlier but I love Duke Hudson's german suplex. It fits his over the top face that's obviously a heel pretending to be a face gimmick

Yeah. Feels like an attempt at differentiating from the Spiral Tap or Red/Black Arrow but without the exact direction. Would be better off changing it or going to a springboard move to a standing opponent

then again, Wes Lee has done phenomenally at showing he's not just 1/2 of MSK and a 1/3 of the rascalz, he's so much more

I'm only asking because I don't follow but... is there any indication that that's actually the purpose (to be excessive) or does it just happen to be a silly move someone thought would be cool looking that just happened to fit?

I don't think so, but that's what I like to think and interpret it as. I doubt there's a true thought process but lol

I mean that's the same way I interpreted the Duke move bc he's just been more extra every week and never did that stuff as a heel lol I don't have defenses for the rest of the folks tho, they just like their convoluted setups
