As for if chats help. I think they do. Because the more pages a thread creates the more they get index by Google and that affects your Google ranking. Also creating new threads for news articles instead of just having a general news thread also I think helped us out quite a bit. Because more threads with more posts all help with ranking. And like Chris said, we finally made it to number two and we’ve been the rocksolid number two for about a year now. And I don’t think that’s going anywhere. Also, page views are huge and with hundreds of users viewing hundreds of pages a day is a massive help too.
