I think Dave excels at one specific thing, eulogizing wrestlers that have passed away. I have ready many of his pieces on these men and women and all are genuine, heartfelt and full of incredibly detailed analysis and stories. I like that Dave Meltzer. I do not like the Dave Meltzer that tries to push an "everyone is booing Cody" rhetoric or the Dave Meltzer that can never give a straight answer or admit that he's wrong (other than due to "plans change").
