Tbh I think the way they've handled Cody intermingling in the story since the Rumble has been nothing short of genius but I know that's not exactly a popular opinion on here lol so many little things done exactly right that kept Cody as a hot challenger and didn't get in the way of anything Sami has done

this I agree with BUT. I still dont love Cody making other stories about himself, but thats also more of a ptsd thing lmao

tbh I could write a whole essay on why i disagree with this bc I've seen it everywhere the last month but long story short, it actually makes so much sense to me, probably with a lot of head canon but still. Basically it's Cody realizing he can't beat the Bloodline himself (bc facing Roman is never only facing roman) do facilitating KO and Sami to make sure they're on the same page to give him the actual one on one match...chefs kiss

But for all I know the intent is just to make Cody look good bc he likes the same people you like (KO and Sami) and that's way less cool lol

But Cody's promos towards them just feel almost manipulative to get what he wants, but like not even in a heel way, more out of necessity bc he knows he needs it

The only thing I thought was too much was Cody watching along like a proud papa when they hugged but that was 5 seconds of an amazing segment so I can't even trash it, it was just funny more than anything
