It's a culture shock to me, my old hometown wasn't even allowed to sell liquor at all, only beer and wine

Weed isn't even legal in Iowa but there's a place in Des Moines that sells legal edibles that ships. I've ordered from them and they seem to be just as potent.

yeah dont get me wrong we do have delivery services that have been around pre internet, just regulation etc doesnt let uber etc do it. u need licenses etc to sell or deliver alcohol

the Texas alcohol commission is strict af I'm surprised it's allowed. My grandpa used to own a liquor store and the dumb rules he had to follow were absurd

yeah tbh, weed by mail has also been a thing for like 50+ years and I do think ppl check. certainly never did here even when it was illegal. i was shocked it was so easy
