I have five/six or so mods I wholly recommend to improve the playing experience (outside of location mods that add new buildings and locales): Frostfall (adds frostbite and weather effects), Wet & Cold (kind of similar but adds world effects so other NPCs react to the weather too), Eat, Drink, Sleep, Bathe (hunger, thirst, tiredness, and dirtiness as a status effect), Sky UI, the Unofficial Patch, Campfire (collect wood and build campfires to stay warm), and any mods that add random NPCs that travel (or random civil war skirmishes, or even bandit groups)Silent Bite said:Skyrim kind of boring without the Macho mods

Basically turns Skyrim from an open-world adventure game to a proper open-world survival game, yeah. The Grimch said:I have five/six or so mods I wholly recommend to improve the playing experience (outside of location mods that add new buildings and locales): Frostfall (adds frostbite and weather effects), Wet & Cold (kind of similar but adds world effects so other NPCs react to the weather too), Eat, Drink, Sleep, Bathe (hunger, thirst, tiredness, and dirtiness as a status effect), Sky UI, the Unofficial Patch, Campfire (collect wood and build campfires to stay warm), and any mods that add random NPCs that travel (or random civil war skirmishes, or even bandit groups)
That's fair lol, I'm way into the rabbit hole of civ-building, colony management, resource management type games so it's kinda for me lolSilent Bite said:and that sounds cool grim. i prob wouldnt enjoy it though that much, mostly because im not really into survivor type games
