One of the best examples I can think of is when Asa Carter wrote "The Outlaw Josey Wales" under a pseudonym because he didn't want people to realize he was the same guy that wrote, "Segregation Then, Segregation Now, and Segregation Forever". It's a shame because The Outlaw Josey Wales is a wonderful story about how family is who you pick, and there were native Americans, African Americans, former Confederates, and staunch Unionists all in this tightly knit family of people who got fucked over by the system in one way or another. Because Asa Carter never made any serious efforts to admit to his wrongdoings (as well as lying about being half-Native), yeah. Nobody will ever know if he was genuinely apologetic for his part in creating an even worse sect of the KKK and murdering people and being a racist all around.
