I don't think that Zombie wants big budget, or requires it. His style just simply doesn't require it. I'd like to see what he'd do with a Friday the 13th remake, but I agree his movies are niche. He's never going to get a big budget movie and that'd be the right call.

Zombie with a Friday the 13th remake would be cool. Guess Sherri Zombie will play Jason's mom, lol. Would love to see him do a Madman Marz remake

Niche doesn't necessarily mean it's bad, all I'm saying is that his movies are not as famous as The Purge series for example. And his most famous movie is a Remake.

You ever watch the TV series on USA? It's on Hulu now too. Only got two seasons but it was really good.

I haven't, no, and I've only seen the first three movies. I thought the second one was good and the third very average. While I didn't hate the first movie, I fou d it was extremely frustrating because they started a very cool concept and decided to lock the action inside a damn house. The second one really showed us what we wanted to see and that's why I prefer the sequel to the original
