I don’t know how people choose to report them online, but I assure you as agencies look at all the ratings. When choosing where to place an ad for how much. They don’t care if Raw is best cable of the overall is 1.5 and they can get a better deal on a network show that does a 3. I don’t know about today, but USA Today used to show the top ten programs and it would feature football, nitro, raw and whatever was most popular on network tv in 1998. I’ve seen them. There was even one ad in the newspaper that told advertisers to stop spending on wrestling even though it was 3 and 4 for night counting both Raw and Nitro. I’m with on wrestling, but this should make you happy, I’m most shitting on Raw. Realistically speaking it shouldn’t be lower than a 3 right now based on where it once was even with the natural downturn. It’s lost people in the last decade specifically because they don’t like the product today. It should not be in the 1’s. SmackDown at least is the 2’s consistently.

I don’t enjoy raw either. So I happen to agree with all those that tuned out.

and the demo is literally what dictates how valuable your ad space is. so idk, doesnt seem disingenuous to me, just seems like annoying facts to attitude era marks who think total viewewship is the be all end all. but thats just me projecting my own opinion now

sure, but thats a different argument. i never said they didnt lose viewers but that doesn't negate the fact they are number one every monday and have ridiculous tv deals that no one else other than the NFL is getting. I think you also GREATLY under estimate how much the NFL has grown exponentially and that fucking wrestling was never going to continue drawing like that, literally impossible for anything to beat NFL now in USA
