I was in a tag team called "Danger Zone" because the fed needed a tag division and I wanted to ease my way in by working with someone. Our characters were very DX-like mixed with Edge and Christian.

Yep... if you are unlucky, it's the big problem with more competitive E-Feds.

So in our first promo, my tag team partner and I wanted to show our comedy...

My partner's idea: "What if we beat up a midget?"

Me: What? Then he went on to talk about how there needs to be this big scene with like a clown, a bunch of insane stuff going on

And long story short...

Putting a midget through a table... was a compromise

 

[Rosie]

We lost, rightfully so, and my partner kind of got buried with the commentary laughing over him tapping out "TO A GIRL!" (all caps too)

 

[Rosie]

You know what happened?

 

[Rosie]

...I rolled with it.

 

[Rosie]

We teased his character about it, didn't use the "midget" in a match promo, but instead had us "apologize" in a promo, then later we "buried the hatchet" and made him a producer on our talk show.

 

[Rosie]

I genuinely could have quit there or just said "F-you" to my tag partner.
