I ask for volunteers to help almost every show and generally no one new ever steps up. It’s just the unfortunate truth. Most people only signed up because they only have to write one promo every two weeks.

Well that's the thing... the way I learned it, there was no Promo vs. Promo before the shows. You send your RP to the promotion people and that was, what would be put into the show. Matches were either simulated with a WWE game and CAWs, or the finish/outcome, depending on the storyline you and the person you were feuding with had going, were pre-determined.

Obviously, if you wanted, you could send in more promos as RPs for the shows

Yeah, there are many kinds of e-feds. I’ve seen those.

LDW, which you can see (half of it due to a memory leak) in the WWEF archives was a fed where everything was just collaboration between creative and the members in the storylines.

That's also why I think there are too many who are way into W/L records instead of participating in making great stories and shows happening

It wasn't perfect and there were maybe two people who were relatively difficult (one no hostility over, just we booked ourselves into a corner, another, guy was a dickhead) but with nobody trying to "promo to win," we instead just focused on storytelling and having wins and losses based on what makes sense storyline wise

And @Loochhausen that was why we kind of made LDW the way it was in the first place. Too much toxicity in the past over it.
