Although I bought a 360 pretty dang late in the game. Maybe they worked out some problems before then.
I think people look at the red ring of death and have a preconception that it was true for all 360s. By and large, the case was a matter of the model. The original 2005-2007 Xbox 360 models had plain bad engineering due to it being so compacted with all its parts. Later models fixed this issue and it's been relatively uncommon in most models nowadays. The Fourth Wall said:Yea, 360 was rough. Really terrible lifespan. I went through a couple of consoles, and then switched to PS3
i know how you feel - when my Moped would break down, i would just sell it and buy a new one instead of trying to fix it myself.Dakstang said:I don't have the patience for these games anymore. You spend more time on menus arranging inventory and switching this and that than you do playing the game. No thanks.

Horrible analogy. But points for effort.Juice said:i know how you feel - when my Moped would break down, i would just sell it and buy a new one instead of trying to fix it myself.
Here's a great video on the RRD.The Fourth Wall said:Yeah, true. I'm definitely biased, I just know my personal experiences with it were quite bad. Never had issues like that with any other console. It was unfortunate.
