Yeah I kept calling him the Mandarin during the movie anyways cause I was explaining him to my daughter. I totally forget they didnt use it. Mandarin and Fin Fang Foom were some of my fav characters when I was kid cause they seemed so cool with their powers.

I truly believe the reason why they didn’t mention it until that one scene and that was the only scene other than another scene I won’t mention for spoiler reasons is because I think for the most part he was just filling the role of Fu Manchu who if you know anything about your marvel they lost the rights to. Slotting Mandarin in was just a quick fix since they did the short with Kingsley.

It’s a real shame that Iron Man three and this is all probably going to get because mandarin was awesome one of my favorite characters man could he give Iron Man and the avengers a run for their money it’s a shame will never see him and Stark or him and any of the other avengers most likely I mean you never know with them but. Don’t see it happening.

There's always the What If show tbh, I know it's not even close to the same and it's animated but I think they got all the original actors to do voice work and I heard it was good (never checked it out myself) but I think if they keep it up they'll literally do all the missed connection team-ups and fights we never got from characters that interacted in comics

Yeah I get that, I knew about the rights and I kinda liked what the did with the rings from a movie stand point(but still prefer the comic ones) but still its all fucking dumb when you think about it

Except a few and some people have acted as if that character was recast because va isn't the same as actual actor
