I don't even remember what the case was at the time but my pathological liar of an old roommate (Abraham Lincoln owned slaves guy that I've mentioned before) once tried to BS "well I agree xxx is a piece of shit but unfortunately the way the laws are, the jury made the right call" and I was like "so maybe we should look into changing them?"
