The biggest thing people want to say about Africa is that they hold no history, despite being the birthplace of humanity, Mali being a fucking giant during the Medieval Ages, Abbysinnia being a massive country, and of course EGYPT BEING IN AFRICA. They mostly denigrate Africa as having no history because, I dunno, the climate didn't allow for permanent habitation, so nobody really settled down except for in river valleys or in giant lake regions.
