You can go to local grocery stores and other electronics stores for competitive pricing. No one is forced to use Amazon. They do it for the convenience. Convenience of it all being in one place and convenience because they ship it to you. Same for Walmart, but because the groceries, clothes, electronics, and car shop is all in one place, etc. People chose this convince over going elsewhere.

local grocery stores barely exist and are mostly big brand stores just lije Walmart though. It's all siphoning up and out of the community. The fact that there's options that are the same or that one place has everything is irrelevant to me. But I digress
