I think one major answer to many problems in America is making it illegal for American owned companies to outsource jobs to to other countries so they can pay workers pennies on the dollar.

I strongly disagree with that. One of the main proponents of getting people to work and being productive for a society is the need to put a roof over one's head and food in their belly. I agree that no one poor should go without food, and if they're really poor we have housing projects for that as well, but no universe free housing or anything that. That would not be good imo.

What we should be doing more often than not, in schools (in my opinion), is teaching kids introduction to trades so they have a leg-up and can work independently enough, whether as tailors or plumbers, etc.

Make a law that would penalize companies for doing that. Make it more expensive to operate that way. Watch America get a lot better.
