I feel where you're coming from @Deathstroke but when it comes down to it... the Knockouts Championship is for the Knockouts. If men could challenge for that belt... women would never hold it. So... there are limits to how meaningful you can say that title is.

It's basically like we gotta set this belt aside so that a woman can actually be champion.

It's basically like a cruiserweight winning the world title when there's a cruiserweight title. Obviously, it's a step further, but similar concept.

I mean that's my point. Men shouldn't copete for the Women's andymore than she shoudl for the Men's. That's the idea. The LO's Title si suppsoedly to be the Women

's equivalent of the Impact Title.

Well that I can understand.

And that's sort of the conundrum with having intergender wrestling on your show.

Agreed. Which is why I'm with WWE on that one.

But having said all that, I am still all for Tessa winning that thing even if there are some flaws the logic. She'll most likely be the only woman to hold it. At least for a long time...

That's why WWE even had the Women's Title headline Mania. To show the Women's Title is supposed to be on par with the WWE and Universal.

 

[Hoss]

And she's worthy of holding it, I feel. No matter how you slice it, that is the real top title in the company. And she's their top draws.

Like I said, Impact is already letting her wrestle men and I think she deserves to go over Sami in the angle she has with him so I'm fine with it I guess in this instance. But, I do think Impact will have trouble making the KO's Title mean as much as it should afterwards.

Plus, from a business perspective, it makes sense right? Tessa Blanchard... a woman... winning the top belt. The same belt held by the likes of Kurt Angle, AJ Styles, Bobby Roode, etc. That'll get you some much needed exposure.

Exposure for sure, not all positive however. There'll be massive backlash.

Tessa actually being a fantastic wrestler is just a bonus. I would definitely be more hesitant about it if it were someone like say Taya Valkyrie. But Tessa is just that damn good imo.
