TEW definitely has appeal for the writer, that he gets challenges put in his way, but for the reader it's completely irrelevant.

how so? You see the build. You see the guy start at the bottom, beat smaller name guys, and claw his way to the top. Like if I wasn’t using TEW, I would have Ziggler come in, and win the title on night 1. But that’s no fun. But when I bring him in, build him up to the top, that’s fun. For me to do, and the reader to follow the journey

I mean, sure you can. If it’s me being a dick because I’m trying to show why TEW is great for this so be it. You’re the one who doesn’t read my shit because you “don’t understand TEW.” When you really don’t have to.

TEW keeps you honest. You can’t just sign whoever the hell you want, you can’t just make someone world champion just because. If they are not popular you gotta build. Yeah you can “build” them up without it, but you got no system other than yourself then. That’s just how I feel.

Yea... just because someone doesn't use TEW, it doesn't mean that person would automatically shit on good, long build-ups. ...and just because someone builds a worker up in TEW perfectly, it doesn't make that build up automatically amazing in a BTB.

...well, I did all that in the past without using TEW, when I worked on real life BTBs
