Chris Tucker is someone who is better in movies for me. I never thought much to his stand-up, I think his recent special he did was pretty bad.

Fair, but some of the fans were probably just happy to see the man play tbh

I was thinking that too. It’s a weird line in the sand I guess

yeah its like, obvi they like to see him play at this best, but they probably be a bit more sad if he didn't play at all? Like, I guess it depends on the fan.

How is it even a question? You go see the Lakers you gonna want to see Kobe play. Even if he's injured, it's better than watching him sit on the bench. No shit you'd rather see him at full health but obviously the way he's looking at it is from the perspective of people who only have this one chance to be at the game.

No one is gonna go to a Lakers game and leave saying "I'm sure glad we didn't get to see Kobe play tonight"

yes but “Kobe Bryant” is just a name. If he’s not playing well, you may as well just see anyone play. Kobe is only Kobe if he’s at his best.

As a matter of fact there’d probably be some fans who would be disappointed seeing Kobe play like shit

Bro, he was an icon and he was known to always go all out. Just seeing that intensity on display is a dream for any NBA fan.

You’re probably right. I’m just saying there’s always another way to look at things
