Yeah, that’s his name haha.

Yeah I like that also, because it doesn’t make stories just to make stories.

Prison Break was like that. Season 1 is a masterpiece, Season 2 was solid. Then they managed to drag the thing out for five seasons, I don't know how.

That show could come out today and say its cancelled and there's no more episodes or go another 5 years and it wouldn't be any different.

now if it's a show like Always Sunny then I don't give a shit because that's basically a one off every episode. it doesn't apply.

Yeah. That makes it different because they don’t really have a story they are following and building. Can’t really fuck a story up when it’s not one to fuck up.

Well with it being a long show in your view, it just means if you get into it, you will have plenty to watch and won't be out of options again.

There's a show I just watched six seasons of called Line of Duty. At first it was daunting to watch all that, and now I have reached the depression stage of: "Man, I have nothing to watch now"

It really is just that hump to get over, you don't know if you'll enjoy shows despite them being popular. That can sometimes make it feel like you are forcing yourself to watch it. I tried doing that with Game of Thrones when it obviously wasn't my thing.

S1 being the first film and a combination of S2 and S4 being the second

Game of Thrones could have probably been an awesome Trilogy of movies.

or a movie for each book instead of making it a tv show that lasted 8(?) years and ended up surpassing the books and sucking i've heard.

Yeah Rugrat, it felt like one long movie. I loved it. I didn't mind Season 2 because it was like The Fugitive with Harrison Ford. Entertaining enough.
