Basically, he's been in this gruesome feud with DDP. He was booked to face DDP, despite already beating him, and he warned Dusty that he couldn't be liable for his actions. He piledrived DDP on the steps and sidelined him with an injury. DDP came back and they were booked for one last unsanctioned match, where DDP returned the favor and injured Kanyon.
