That happened to me.....got fired or I quit,

yeah they said, "while we see it's a valid reason but you quit voluntarily and still had an option to work we can't offer you unemployment"

meanwhile everyone on unemployment is getting like 800 a week.

Yeah my boss's granddaughter was a daycare employee. She ended up getting unemployment and was making a lot more than she did working.

It was $600 a week here.....in addition to whatever they got for unemployment. So she was pulling like 3 grand a month or something.

yeah, my cousin is a dipshit and has a new job every week.

My mom runs a daycare and this is a whole fucking issue that's been a problem since before COVID

Worker turnover is ridiculously high for daycares bc the job is a bitch and doesn't pay worth shit bc most are pretty much just preschools that are only able to stay alive from government funding, not necessarily the customers paying
