quite a few months ago, before i moved here. there was a child abduction in a neighbouring county. there was a highspeed chase after they found the guys truck. chased him near the town im in now. as they were setting up tire strips the maniac smashed into one of the cop cars, severly inuring an officer. they opened fire after that, and unfortunatly hit the child inside, who passed away. the report just came out today

yeah, just a no good all around situation. just feel terrible for all involved

as a former AFO - I have no idea why they would have used live ammo during a child hostage situation.

Maybe the guy was not stopping. If he rammed one Police car maybe he threw it in reverse and they feared he would do it again.

All i know - is that UK AFOs would never be used live ammo, in a situation with a child hostage.

Gotta be more careful when a kid is involved tho tbh. Normally I’d agree. But you have a kid in there and you got to figure out something else.
