Before they would just keep the receipts and expense them whenever the next check was cut for more petty cash even if that was over a month long

I changed it to where they're expensed when you hand the person the cash and we now how a running balance of how much petty cash we have in our system instead of guessing

Like before, anytime a new check needed to be cashed for the petty cash drawer, you had to go through all the old receipts, this way you can just cut the check when you need the money bc all those receipts were accounted for when you handed the money
