There's a lot of points and the title is pretty misleading. The main chunk is just analyzing how the return of dynamic characters - faces that have clear motives and who the fans want to cheer for (Hanger and Cody), and heels that are more complex (MJF, Drew, KO) - and the fluidity by promotions to have guys that kind of drift between, and can adapt to how crowds are perceiving them have contributed largely to the recent boom in wrestling. This is mainly in contrast to much of the PG Era where the top face (Cena) was not that widely beloved, faced little adversity for the most part, and had little discernible motivation, and all the heels were just as one dimensional.

He was touching on a lot of shit and honestly I wasn't always following the train of thought. Would be more useful to just watch it because I don't think I did the best job summing it up, that was just mostly what I took from it lol.

The whole "death of magic" portion was mainly just touched on at the end and was kinda saying how big business threatens to undo the progress that has been made, mainly looking at the shitbomb Cena heel run as an example of shortsighted booking, just trying to force something against the fans' will for the sake of profit, etc.
