but yeah my main "issue" with south park is that it makes ppl think that being an uncaring asshole is cool

ehhhh I have my own issues with them at times. I respect the hustle but they definitely do have their own biases. I get kind of annoyed (not at you) at people revering that show as enlightened centrism too

To be fair I don't know a single person who I completely align with on politics, society, morality, etc. There are many people who I admire what they stand for in certain aspects, but who I've also disagreed with plenty on other things. I think it would be a bad sign to agree completely with all the thoughts presented by a show, or artist, or comedian or politican obviously, that does a lot of social commentary. You're pretty much bound to differ on things eventually unless you aren't someone who thinks for themselves. Since I am certain that my beliefs aren't 100% infallible, I can give a good amount of grace to those who seem like their heart is at least in the right place.

i certainly agree with that and that becomes more and more important as you grow older. for the record im more in debate mode here as well, im not actually offended or mad at south park. its just some ppl in the past especially have made south park their like political belief system and i think thats not great lol

again tho, its just comedy. its subjective and howi feel about some of those episodes today is different than how I felt when they aired as well
