I think the NFL, MLB, NHL, and NBA should be broken up into smaller more regional leagues

Bring back the ABL, the AFL, a smaller NFL, make the AL and NL completely separate leagues with only the World Series tying them together. Bring back the WHA, the AAFL, etc.
